Our Dentists

Dr. Lauren McLeod

Lauren has a big heart and wants to help whenever she can. She deeply cares about every patient and strives to provide the best care for everyone. Lauren enjoys all aspects of dentistry. She took her dental training at the University of Alberta and did an extra year of training in a General Practice Residency program at the U of A hospital. Lauren grew up in central Alberta and is proud to still call it home.              

Dr. Lisa Barr

Lisa was born and raised in central Alberta and has been surrounded by dentistry her whole life – with both her dad and older brother being dentists and sharing their passion for the profession. Lisa enjoys all aspects of dentistry, particularly working with our pediatric patients, and is always striving to provide the best care for our community. She loves living and working in Lacombe with her husband, and being part of the team at Dolman Dental. Outside of the dental office, Lisa enjoys spending time with her friends and family, playing sports, and travelling

Dr. Judy Kim

Judy grew up in Cold Lake, AB. From a very young age, she knew she wanted to pursue a career in dentistry. She completed her post-secondary education in Saskatoon at the University of Saskatchewan. During this time, she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Physiology and Pharmacology with Great Distinction, and her Doctor of Dental Medicine. Judy enjoys many different aspects of dentistry, but has a particular interest in pediatrics and restorative dentistry. Outside of work, you will find Judy travelling with her fiancé, Miles and spending time with family and friends (and her cat, Nylah). 

Dr. Adam McCourt

Adam grew up in the nearby town, Drayton Valley. He always loved visiting Lacombe to play sports as a kid and is excited to be a part of the community with his wife. Adam performed his dental training at the University of Alberta which was followed by a one-year General Practice Residency at Dalhousie University in Halifax. Adam strives to provide the highest level of care he can to his patients. In his free time, Adam enjoys golfing, playing tennis, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Terri
Office Manager

Terri was a dental hygienist for almost 30 years before transitioning into the management side of the practice. She is a facilitator between the front desk, the dentists, and the clinical staff in the back. She still enjoys face to face patient interactions as well, and making sure everyone feels they have been welcomed and treated like family.

Madison
Registered Dental Hygienist

We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have Maddy on our dental hygiene team. She is originally from Edmonton and has a degree in dental hygiene from the University of Alberta. Maddy moved to Central Alberta in 2023, and is loving it. She is passionate about making everybody feel comfortable in the dental chair and connecting with her patients. She knows how to strike the balance between gentle and thorough treatment, and she has a very loyal patient base! Outside of work she loves to travel, golf, and spend time at the lake.

Jamie
Registered Dental Hygienist

Jamie has been a dental hygienist at Dolman Dental from the very beginning. She always has a welcoming smile and puts you at ease when you come for your appointment. Jamie grew up in Lacombe, and is happy to live and work here. She enjoys ringette, all things outdoors, travelling, and spending time at the lake with her family.

Cristina
Registered Dental Hygienist

Cristina is an exceptional hygienist and strives to ensure your appointment is comfortable and relaxing. Cristina was born and raised in Ontario but decided to move to Alberta with her family in 2013. Cristina, her husband, and her two kids are very happy in Central Alberta and enjoy the country lifestyle.

Abigail
Registered Dental Hygienist

Abby hails from the Maritimes, but we think we’ve got her at least partially converted to a prairie girl! She completed her dental hygiene education in Ottawa, Ontario, before moving to Central Alberta. Abby likes to spend her free time outdoors and camping with family and friends.

Kim L.
Registered Dental Hygienist

Kim has roughly 30 years of dental hygiene experience! She is research-oriented and super dedicated to providing her patients with the best, most up to date, and gentle care possible. Kim takes pride in creating a comfortable environment for patients of all ages. When not at work, she can be found walking the local trails or in her kayak on the lake or river. She also tries to get out to the mountains as often as possible.  Kim is an avid traveler, and has even worked as a volunteer providing dental services in South America!

Kimberly P.
Registered Dental Hygienist

Kim is frequently touted as being very gentle and kind, and has a strong core of dedicated patients. When she is not working, Kim is kept very busy adventuring with her twin boys. If she can find free time, she enjoys playing baseball and golf. Kim grew up in Ponoka, but is now happy to call Lacombe home. She looks forward to meeting new people and creating beautiful smiles in her chair!

Registered Dental Hygienist

Hi, I’m Paige! I have my degree in dental hygiene from the UofA. I strive to make every appointment as easy and comfortable as possible for all patients. I love living in Central Alberta, spending time at the lake wakesurfing, and travelling!

Amy
Registered Dental Assistant

Amy is an exceptional dental assistant dedicated to providing a great dental experience for everyone who comes in. Amy is a cheerful and enthusiastic team member. She likes to spend her free time with family (including her twin girls and their younger brother), and friends.

Brenna
Registered Dental Assistant

Brenna is a Registered Dental Assistant at Dolman Dental. Her cheerful attitude and red hair brighten up the clinic. Brenna grew up right here in Central Alberta, in Rocky Mountain House. She enjoys curling up with a good book and spending time with her furry family.

Laurie
Registered Dental Assistant

Laurie is a fun and enthusiastic member of our dental assistant team. She is always happy to help and will do everything she can to ensure you have a wonderful experience in the dental chair. She is great at making people feel comfortable and cared for. Laurie enjoys living in and exploring Central Alberta with her husband and son.

Gerri
Registered Dental Assistant

Gerri is one of our amazing Registered Dental Assistants here at Dolman. She brings a positive attitude and great energy to any task. We are so happy to have Gerri on our team. Gerri was raised in Lacombe and loves helping patients create healthy smiles!

Danica
Registered Dental Hygienist

Danica has a big heart and loves being able to help people. Working in dentistry gives her the opportunity to extend care to people, and she tries to go above and beyond. She also loves the hands-on experience and the opportunity to always learn more. Outside of work, Danica enjoys being outdoors, especially going on hikes in the mountains. She's also involved in a volunteer ministry work where she helps people learn more about the Bible.

Molly
Dental Assistant

Molly is a dental assistant at Dolman Dental and has been helping patients feel comfortable and cared for for over 13 years. She loves keeping things clean, organized, and running smoothly. Originally from Ontario, Molly brings a friendly, down-to-earth energy to the office. When she's not at work, you'll usually find her spending time with her dog or enjoying the outdoors.

Sophia
Registered Dental Assistant

Sophia is a Registered Dental Assistant and recent NAIT grad who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care. Born and raised in Ponoka, she grew up on a busy farm surrounded by animals and a big family, and she is always dedicated to helping patients of all ages feel comfortable in the dental chair. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys scrapbooking, reading, and spending time with her animals.

Sterilization Technician

Shauna was born and raised in Red Deer. When she is not busy cleaning and sterilizing dental instruments, she enjoys keeping active and doing anything outdoors. Currently she is learning to play the guitar and the cello.

Our Administration Team

Jen
Administrator

Jen can be found at our front desk and is also currently working on her Dental Assisting credentials. She is an active mother of 2 kids. Jen enjoys spending time with her husband, gardening, being outdoors and hanging out with her 2 dogs, 2 cats and multiple chickens!

Tracy
Administrator

Tracy is one of our smiling receptionists that can help you with checking in, booking appointments, insurance claims, filling out medicals, and much more. Tracy moved to Lacombe from Rocky Mountain House. She enjoys going to the gym, walking, biking, and especially loves hiking in the mountains.

Robyn
Administrator

Robyn is one of our front-end administrative assistants. She grew up in Lacombe, and formerly owned a business for 10 years right on main street, so she knows many of the lovely faces arriving at our clinic. Robyn enjoys spending time with her husband and their three teens. They are an active family, and are involved in many local sports, including motocross, hockey, ringette, football, boxing and school sports. Robyn really enjoys the outdoors in general, and staying active daily.

Kathy
Administrator

Kathy is our super-efficient administrator at the front desk. She knows how to stay calm under pressure, and to help keep the rest of the team chill as well! She loves to be outdoors and enjoys trips to the mountains, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys crafting, or curling up with a good book in her spare time. She moved to Lacombe a year ago and couldn’t be happier.

Ashley
Administrator

With a warm smile and a welcoming spirit, Ashley is the first friendly face you’ll see at Dolman Dental. Coming from a background in personal training and hospitality, she brings her passion for people and her knack for creating great experiences to every patient interaction. Ashley believes a dental visit should feel like a visit with friends — comfortable, caring, and maybe even fun! When she’s not helping patients feel at home, Ashley loves spending time with her little family, exploring the outdoors on hiking adventures, and maybe you'll catch her singing her heart out at a local karaoke night. 

Victoria
Administrator

Victoria is another of the warm and welcoming faces at our front desk. Her bright smile, bubbly personality, and fun giggles help put even the most anxious dental patients at ease. She enjoys going on adventures with her blended family, as well as chill weekends at home watching movies or doing hobbies that age her by about 50 years – puzzling, crocheting and baking!
